Born in Canberra. Inspired by Africa.
Z’Spice was founded in Canberra with a simple idea: to share the bold flavours of African food with more people.
Our growing range of Kilishi, West African snacks and seasonings brings familiar favourites to those who know them, and new flavours to those discovering them.

At the heart of Z’Spice is Kilishi
Kilishi is a traditional West African dried and spiced meat closely associated with Hausa food culture across northern Nigeria and the wider Sahel. Thin cuts of meat are seasoned with a rich blend of spices and traditionally prepared with a groundnut-based coating before being carefully dried.
The result is boldly seasoned, full of flavour and distinct from conventional beef jerky.
